After a great time in Pompeii we drove to Athens where we boarded the cruise ship that will take us to the Greek Islands for the next few days.
Our first stop is Mykonos! When we landed on Mykonos late in the afternoon we hit the ground running, because we couldn't wait to explore that beautiful city behind us!!
Our first destination was to see the windmills! The windmills are no longer operational, but they continue to be a symbol of Mykonos rich past.
After having dinner we found a great pastry shop for dessert.
I just love how friendly they are here!
We made our way down to the water and had fun exploring and taking pictures.
We spent sometime in a quiet, quaint bar where we had some incredible views!
Time for some shopping! I am in search of a great pair of leather sandals!
I just loved walking these narrow stoned streets!
I also loved the simplicity of the architecture with the pop of turquoise color accenting the bright white buildings.
Well my day has come to an end on this beautiful island of Mykonos. But I'm going to savor every last moment and enjoy the view from the cruise ship as the sun sets.
