A Hotel On The Hill

How does it sound to have the best panoramic view of Cusco City? There are no words to describe the feeling of a front row seat to one of the most infamous cities in Peru. The city of Cusco is the gateway to Machu Pichu. The Inkan culture comes alive in this small but special city.

Why not choose a hotel that offers endless amenities, great staff, and upscale hotel experience, .....and oh yeah, home of the best views in the house! Most people prefer to pick a hotel in the city center for convenience and to be immersed in the city. Keep in mind, Peruvians are passionate about fireworks, singing and dancing in the streets at all hours of the night. For comfort and peace that may not be the best option.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a newer hotel in Cusco.  Escape from all the noise and just enjoy what there is to the city. The hotel is located right up the hill and a short walk or taxi ride from the city center. Take it from me, you will be thrilled with your decision to stay here.

As you approach the hotel lobby 2 gentleman will welcome you by opening the doors. As you enter into the lobby area you will be blown away by the large chandelier in the center and decor of the furniture. Don't be afraid to walk up to the front desk to check in since the staff is beyond grateful.  You have arrived!.......your journey has begun!

After you check in, put your things down in the room and go explore around the hotel. This is a very spacious hotel with lots of amenities to indulge.

After a good nights rest, head down to the hotel restaurant and enjoy a nice peruvian buffet spread. There aren't many things you won't find. You have endless options to choose from.

If you get hungry during lunch and dinner don't worry the restaurant will be available to serve you.

Kick back outside on the patio and enjoy the peace and serenity you will receive. The weather might be just right to lose your thoughts on your plans for the day.

The hotel offers a large range of hotel rooms. Long day of sightseeing? Come back and put your mind at ease. You will feel right at home when you rest on these comfy beds, as a result you will get comfort and relaxation.

The hotel also offers very nice suites if you would like a true living room to take a break from the bedroom.

After an enjoyable stay at this hotel, make sure you remember that this is one of the best options to stay at in Cusco. When booking a reservation make sure you mention carlasgotthetravelbug.

A Peruvian Dream Resort

How does it sound to choose a city in Peru with lots of hands on activities, but also have the resort style comforts at your fingertips. Well, you are in for a real treat with this beautifully designed resort hotel.

As I have mentioned in my other posts, Hilton hotels seems to outdue themselves when it comes to amenities. This hotel isn't shy one bit of what it has to offer. There's no question what you will be getting when checking into the hotel.

The beachy sandy vibes and outdoor romantic ambiance will take your breath away. Using this hotel as a romantic getaway for you and your sweetheart or just a plain, old fashioned getaway with friends and maybe family, you've for sure come to the right place.  Walking through the lobby, enjoying the island flare and approaching a humongous pool and walking further, to arrive directly at the beach, might be hard to wrap your head around.

How about going to the upscale restaurant and reviewing the menu to find a nice selection of Peruvian Specialties?  There's a special drink that is a must to order, it is called the Pisco Sour. Indulge in the pool area while sitting near the glass windows. In the morning for breakfast, a beautifully prepared buffet will be waiting for you to enjoy.

It's time to have a swim in the pool and see how long it takes for you to do some breast strokes back and forth, maybe even do some handstands in the water. Once you're ready, take a walk down to the beach and get a nice suntan.

There are some nice outdoor bars right in front of the pool. There's a large selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from, but again make sure you try the famous Pisco Sour.  This is a speciality drink that Peruvians are well versed on. It's strong and will get you ready to be free.

All the rooms in the hotel are made up of suites, which include your own personal living room to enjoy some lounging time and watch some TV.  In addition, many of the suites have direct ocean views.

Until we meet again, wonderful hotel, I have one word for you, Adios. When booking this beautiful hotel make sure to mention carlasgotthetravelbug.
